One of the members of the world renouned pop group ‘La oreja de Van Gogh’s’ and composer of most of its greatest hits, he combines his work with composition for other first level artists. He has joined the musical project and his lyrics for our songs shine with their own light.

Screenwriter, actor, comedian and producer of numerous theatrical hits. He has worked for the main television channels and on the big four radio networks. After seven consecutive years of success with ‘Hasta aquí hemos ‘llegao’ ‘, he now leads the ‘Becoming Audrey’ team.

Gabriela has become a reference in costume design for theater, opera and musicals. She is responsible for great opera productions: ‘Hamlet’, ‘La Traviata’ and ‘The Barber of Seville’, and the best musicals: ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘The Sound of Music’ and ‘My Fair Lady’, among others.

Toni Espinosa

Choreographer

Toni Espinosa, a reference in the world of entertainment, joins as choreographer.

Winner of two Musical Theater Awards and two Broadway World Awards, and responsible for the choreography of successful musicals such as ‘Billy Elliot’, ‘Grease’, and ‘Matilda’.

David Pizarro

Set Design

David Pizarro, a graduate in Set Design from RESAD and with a Master’s degree in Themed Entertainment Design in the USA, created his own set design studio, Pizarro Studio, focused on set design for theatre, musicals, opera and live shows, as well as the artistic direction of music videos and TV shows. Notable projects include the sets for ‘Ánima’, ‘Los Muchachos del Coro’, ‘El Barbero de Sevilla’, ‘La noche de los muertos vivientes’, ‘We Will Rock You’ and ’33’, among others (PTM award and Broadway World award for best set design).

Rodrigo Ortega

Lighting Design

For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to stage lighting, participating in numerous theater, dance, opera, and musical theater productions. Highlights of these years include my work in the world of opera with the designs for «Tosca», «Don Giovanni» and «La Bohème».

In musical theater, I have participated in the musicals La Familia Addams, El Jovencito Frankenstein, Grease o Los Chicos del Coro.

In 2020, I was awarded the PTM for Best Lighting Design for the musical Flashdance.

Javier Isequilla

Sound design

With more than 25 years of experience he has designed the sound for: ‘The Producers’, ‘Los Chicos del Coro’, ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Chicago’ and ‘Hoy no me puedo levantar’.

He has been awarded the Broadway World (TWO times) or the Gran Vía Musical award.

Álvaro Luna

Video Scene Design

He has been working since 1999 in different fields of audiovisual creation such as cinema, documentary and video art. He was a pioneer of the video scene, the inclusion of video and visual projection in opera, theater, music and dance shows.

Aitor Antruejo

Musical Director

Musician, arranger and music producer with a wide versatility that ranges from folk to rock, pop, jazz and funk. He has worked, among others, for artists such as Nacho Cano, Rozalén, Ella Baila Sola and Álex González (Maná) and has been part of shows such as Cruz de Navajas, Mecano Experience and Malinche.

Rober del Campo

Props, set dressing and set design assistance

Specialist in theatrical props and props for more than 18 years. He has participated in more than fifteen musicals: ‘The Lion King’, ‘The Choir Boys’, ‘Today I Can’t Get Up’, ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Sister Act’, ‘Anastasia’, etc. He also held the position of Artistic Supervisor at the Puy du Fou park – Spain.

Laura García

Makeup Design

With extensive experience, her professional career includes television, press and advertising, as well as important operas at the Teatro Real (Madrid). In musical theatre, her work as a makeup artist for the Beauty and the Beast (The Beast) and The Lion King – for which she has been part of the makeup team since 2011 and also acts as a worldwide supervisor for the productions – truly stands out.

She has been a professor of makeup at the Rey Juan Carlos University and at JANA for the past 10 years.

Enea Valiente

Hairdressing Design

With a solid background in characterization, he has been in the world of musical theater for more than two decades: “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Victor Victoria,” “The Producers,” “Chicago,” “Les Misérables” and “Cats.” He has also participated in zarzuelas, operas and television projects. Currently, he leads the characterization team in “The Lion King.”

With a successful career in the entertainment world, her versatility and creativity have allowed her to collaborate in more than fifteen renowned productions: “My Fair Lady”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Les Misérables”, “Sister Act” or “The Lion King”.

She joins the great project of “Looking for Audrey” as assistant costume designer and head tailor.

Audrey Hepburn (nacida Audrey Kathleen Ruston; 4 de mayo de 1929 – 20 de enero de 1993) fue una actriz y benefactora británica. Reconocida como un ícono del cine y de la moda, el American Film Institute la clasificó como la tercera leyenda femenina de la pantalla de la Edad de Oro de Hollywood y fue incluida en el Salón de la Fama de la Lista Internacional de las Mejores Vestidas.

Nacida en Ixelles, Bruselas, Hepburn pasó parte de su infancia en Bélgica, Inglaterra y la Segunda Guerra Mundial en los Países Bajos. Estudió ballet con Sonia Gaskell en Ámsterdam a partir de 1945 y con Marie Rambert en Londres en 1948. Comenzó a actuar como corista en producciones de teatro musical del West End y tuvo apariciones menores en varias películas británicas. Hepburn protagonizó la obra de Broadway de 1951, Gigi, después de haber sido vista en el set de filmación de ‘Monte Carlo Baby’ en el sur de Francia por la novelista francesa Colette, en cuyo trabajo se basó la obra.

Saltó al estrellato en la comedia romántica Roman Holiday (1953) junto a Gregory Peck, por la que fue la primera actriz en ganar un Oscar, un Globo de Oro y un premio BAFTA por una sola interpretación. Ese mismo año, Hepburn ganó un premio Tony a la mejor actriz principal en una obra de teatro por su actuación en Ondine. Luego protagonizó varias películas de éxito como Sabrina (1954), con Humphrey Bogart y William Holden; Funny Face (1957) un musical con Fred Astaire en el que cantaba sus propias canciones; el drama La historia de la monja (1959); la comedia romántica Desayuno con diamantes (1961); el thriller romántico Charade (1963), junto a Cary Grant; y el musical My Fair Lady (1964). En 1967, protagonizó el thriller Wait Until Dark, por el que recibió nominaciones al Oscar, al Globo de Oro y al BAFTA.

Luego se retiró para criar a sus hijos y solo apareció ocasionalmente en películas.

Ganó tres premios BAFTA a la mejor actriz británica en un papel principal. En reconocimiento a su carrera cinematográfica, recibió el premio BAFTA Lifetime Achievement Award, el Golden Globe Cecil B. Biography

Meet Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn (born Audrey Kathleen Ruston; 4 May 1929 – 20 January 1993) was a British actress and humanitarian. Recognized as both a film and fashion icon, she was ranked by the American Film Institute as the third-greatest female screen legend from the Golden Age of Hollywood, and was inducted into the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame.

Born in Ixelles, Brussels, Hepburn spent parts of her childhood in Belgium, England, and the Second World War in the Netherlands. She studied ballet with Sonia Gaskell in Amsterdam starting in 1945 and with Marie Rambert in London in 1948. She began performing as a chorus girl in West End musical theater productions and had minor appearances in several British films. Hepburn starred in the 1951 Broadway play Gigi after being spotted on the film set of  ‘Monte Carlo Baby’ in the South of France by the French novelist Colette, on whose work the play was based.

She rose to stardom in the romantic comedy Roman Holiday (1953) alongside Gregory Peck, for which she was the first actress to win an Oscar, a Golden Globe Award, and a BAFTA Award for a single performance. That same year, Hepburn won a Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Play for her performance in Ondine. She went on to star in a number of successful films such as Sabrina (1954),  with Humphrey Bogart and William Holden; Funny Face (1957) a musical with Fred Astaire in which she sang her own songs; the drama The Nun’s Story (1959); the romantic comedy Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961); the thriller-romance Charade (1963), opposite Cary Grant; and the musical My Fair Lady (1964). In 1967, she starred in the thriller Wait Until Dark, receiving Academy Award, Golden Globe, and BAFTA nominations. She then retired to raise her children only occasionally appearing in films. 

She won three BAFTA Awards for Best British Actress in a Leading Role. In recognition of her film career, she received BAFTA’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award, the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award, the Special Tony Award. She remains one   of only 19 people who have won the ‘EGOT’: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards.

Later in life, she devoted much of her time to UNICEF, to which she had contributed since 1954. She worked in some of the poorest communities of Africa, South America, and Asia between 1988 and 1992. In December 1992, United States president George H. W. Bush presented Hepburn with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in recognition of her work with UNICEF.

A month later, on January 20th, 1993, she died of appendiceal cancer at her home in Switzerland at the age of 63.

2 months later, On March 29th at the 65th Academy Awards, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences posthumously awarded her the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Oscar Award for her contribution to humanity.

Often asked what makes his mother’s legacy so enduring, her eldest son Sean Hepburn Ferrer says:

“I believe that apart from her film career, her enduring symbol of inner and outer elegance and her career as a humanitarian, we perceive her as ‘one of us’.
